the battery would have lasted longer if i was in a cooler state, parked in shade or just took it down when not in use. it self locks videos well, it saves the videos well and i have been happy with it for the several years i owned mine. Through my deliveries i saved over 500 videos of close calls and dumb drivers. they used a good battery that doesn't swell when it dies. i can't blame them for the battery it is more of the nature of the state. (battery died again) i am modifying it to let me locate the battery to a cooler part of the car. the battery died again and i just bought a new pouch battery to replaced it. they held their end i still have the camera. this time i had to send mine first since it didn't get to them last time. they told me to send it to them and they'd send me a new one. i asked about what battery it used so i can fix mine myself. i contacted the company and they delivered me a new one, trusting me to send the other back.
after about a year my camera wasn't able to hold a charge. you have to stop recording to snap a picture

I have to manually connect the device to a computer to clear the storage.Ī no screen lcd with no settings access is not worth $100. I am STUCK at the current settings I have because I cannot navigate to the menus and see what I am selecting. After a dozen power cycles the screen remains white. The lcd screen has officially stopped working. Changed from 5 eggs to 3 simply because it still functions, but not as advertised. This is very inconvenient if you trust the device to record what you see in front of you because youll have to power it down 4 or 5 times before the screen will start functioning. I have no idea if its recording or not because i cant see anything on the display. The device will power on but the screen literally stay white. I didnt do the math or nothing but it seems that it takes 4 out of 5 resets to have the screen functioning.
Cons: Battery doesnt hold a charge for as long as say a cellphone or nintendo or something but this is meant to be in a car with its adapter so its not worth knocking an egg of about.New Edit: This device appears to be crapping out on me.
